Frequently Asked Questions
Answered by Holy Angels Students

What's it like to attend an all girls school?
It's great! It's much easier to concentrate in class and we're not afraid to ask any questions of our teachers. Not having boys around to impress makes the learning environment less stressful.

Are the teachers nice?
The teachers at HAA are very caring individuals. They have high expectations for their students, but they help us our every step of the way. If we are ever lost in a class, our teachers will always take the time to meet with us before or after school, or during study hall.

What is a typical day like?
The first bell rings at 7:45am., and we must be in homeroom by 8:00am. We take 8 classes a day and each class is 40 minutes long and the school day ends at 2:30pm.

How big are the classes?
The average class is size is 15 to 20. So we feel we are getting the personal attention we need in order to be successful.

What is the school uniform?
Freshmen, sophomore and juniors are required to wear either the solid gray or gray plaid uniform skirt. They must wear the HAA polo shirt, either in long or short sleeve. Over the plo, the girls may wear the HAA embroidered sweater.
